About
I’m one of the co-founders of Hubblo, a consulting and a study office specialized in environmental, climate, social and societal effects of the tech industry. In this position, I work especially on topics related to Datacenters, AI, Cloud services and wider ICT infrastrctures.
I’m also an active contributor to the Boavizta non-profit, in which I contribute to digital commons helping organizations and individuals to better understand, evaluate and reduce the environmental impacts of digital services.
Previously I’ve worked for 10 years in the tech industry, as a system and network engineer, in the contexts of: hosting services provider, Internet Service Providers, Cloud consultancy and Video Game editor.
See the talks section of this website, for an overview of my previous conference talks, and the press section for articles I wrote or interviews in medias.
At the edge of professional and leisure time, I like to work on open-source projects. I maintain the following projects:
- Scaphandre, a monitoring tool for energy consumption of IT servers
- DCWatch, a collaborative research project on Data Centres and their environmental and spatial footprints
- DCFootprint, an open-source and digital common for Data Centres environmental footprint computation
I also contribute to several projects, including: Boagent, BoaviztAPI, windows-rapl-driver.
